We are pleased to introduce Richard (Rick) Brehm as the General Manager of Lincolnway Energy, LLC.

Rick grew up in rural Central Wisconsin. Upon graduating from high school Rick attended Iowa State University, where he obtained a degree in Agronomy.

While attending college, Rick participated in the work study program at a fertilizer company near Des Moines, this began the start of Rick’s career in commercial agricultural.

Since graduating from Iowa State University, Rick has held various management positions with Harvest States Cooperatives, Hubbard Milling Company, International Ingredient Corporation, and Ag Management Services. Rick has spent most of the last 10 years working with ethanol plants and joins us from United Bio Energy where he has been the Director of Plant Operations since UBE was formed in January 2004 .

While attending Iowa State University Rick met his wife Michele. They are now the proud parents of two active teenagers Kimberley and Andrew.

When not at work, Rick enjoys spending time with his family, fishing and tinkering with some of his many projects.
